KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS OF PATIENT ADMINISTRATOR IN MEDICLINIC WELCARE HOSPITAL
- To effectively and efficiently manage the patient appointment scheduling and registration process
- To effectively and efficiently manage the medical insurance process and other related tasks
- Effectively manage the billing and cash-up process
- Works closely with internal stakeholders such as the Chief Nursing Officer, Nursing, Security and Ambulance and Human Resources Department etc in matters related to reporting, co-ordination, transportation and security issues, coordination etc
- Ensure appointment order of employees is collected from HR department and is duly signed by them and returned to personal file
- Support in planning departmental activities, evaluating doctors and other hospital employees, and creating and maintaining policies
- To consistently meet customer service expectations by improving the quality of patient service
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferably within the fields of medical science, finance/accounting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Essential: 2-3 Years’ experience in a customer services role, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Desired: Experience in a Contact Centre or Healthcare environment

- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- CRM (customer relations management) software applications
- Hospital information systems
- Knowledge of company policies and emergency codes
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminologies and process
