Maintenance Technician in Mediclinic City Hospital Dubai is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in electrical systems, including fault finding, rewiring and monitoring of systems in accordance with professional trade and health and safety standards and regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN MEDICLINIC CITY HOSPITAL
- Provide relevant electrical maintenance monitoring and support for facility electrical systems that include fault finding, rewiring, monitoring
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance services for electrical distribution systems including ACB’s, MDB’s, SMDB’s, DB’s and all associated plant and equipment
- Operate switchgear and generator systems
- Responsible for finding a long-term solution to repair the damage occurring in the spa – Coordinate and assist with cleaners in any cleaning requirement of the spa area.
- Report any maintenance needs to the Housekeeping supervisor.
- Make sure the tools are always tied up in storage and invisible to the customers whenever inside the shop.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing the silicone sealant of the shower and fixing light bulbs, table screws etc.
- Installation of electrical systems under wiring regulations
- Support relevant administrative processes, including ordering of parts, to ensure equipment remains in good functioning order
- Contribute towards and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, policies and regulatory requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- A relevant technical diploma or trade certificate from an internationally accredited institution
EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years relevant experience as a Maintenance Technician in a healthcare setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Building management systems and lighting control systems
- Knowledge of current wiring regulations
- Relevant JCIA and other related governance and regulatory standards
