NMC is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Laser Technician with a Bachelor of Nursing and 3 years of experience at CosmeSurge Clinics 3rd Floor, FEWA Building, Hamad Bin Abdulla Rd, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. This job’s main responsibility is to prepare clients for hair removal, and tattoo removal, minimise the appearance of wrinkles, operating approved laser devices and provide clients with post-treatment skin care. In some states, Laser Technicians are required to work under a physician’s supervision. The Salary offered by the company is 5500-6000 AED. Both Males and Females can apply. RESPONSIBILITIES OF LASER TECHNICIAN AT NMC COSMESURGE CLINICS

• Responsible for the competent physical documented assessment and subsequent preparation of appropriate treatment for a patient’s skin care needs based on good clinical knowledge.
• Responsible for the trained and competent use of Laser machines for hair removal as recognized by the Dermatologists in CosmeSurge.
• Provides up-to-date and sanctioned knowledge and empathic support for clients who wish to, or those who need to undergo hair removal treatment.
• This may include laser tattoo removal.
• The treatment and care of facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, including understanding about the sun and its effect on the skin.
• The provision, based on competence, of pain relief stress reduction and anxiety reduction techniques before procedures provided by a dermatologist.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all procedures including detailed informed consent
• Ensures cleanliness of the clinic at the start and during sessions
• Anticipates recognizes, and manages emergencies and unsafe situations and practices, initiating appropriate and timely interventions.
• Performs all duties professionally and confidentially.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent. (3 years GNM with MOH RN License is acceptable)
• 3 years of experience as a Laser Technician
• Accredited Laser Training Course (NCLC, SCHRM)
