Responsibilities of Embryologist at American Hospital Dubai

• Examining and preparing semen for procedures like Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and Conventional In-vitro Fertilization (CIVF) is part of the process.
• Extracts eggs from the fluid in the follicles and evaluates how well they’re fertilizing and dividing into embryos.
• Equips embryo in implantation, administers intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and maintains the environment using cryopreservation of human fertilizer.
• Requires regular maintenance of prescribed protective clothing to ensure compliance with established quality assurance regulations and safety measures.
• Processes samples collected from Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE), Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA) and Microscopic Testicular Sperm Extraction (Micro-TESE).
• Carries out and collects oocytes from the follicular fluid.
• Assesses the fertilization process and the division of embryos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Health Science or Human Embryology
• 3 years of experience as an Embryologist
