Responsibilities of Receptionist in Canadian Specialist Hospital

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Serve as the front desk representative for the Metropolitan Sales office.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries directing them to the appropriate departments
  • Provide information about hotel/restaurant services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist guests with inquiries.
  • Manage reservations and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.


  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • 2 Years Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of hotel/restaurant booking systems (experience with Hotel Management Software’s is a plus).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and services to assist guests effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
