Accountabilities of Radiographer at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital

• Examining patients and understanding their medical needs to determine the best ways to take X-rays or other medical images.
• Provide patient information as per policy and legal requirements.
• Work well with other healthcare professionals in a team to ensure the best possible care for patients. It means sharing your knowledge and working seamlessly together to help patients.
• Constantly update your skills and observe new tools and methods recommended by professional organizations.
• Participating in annual performance reviews to monitor progress
• Ensure patients are safe at all times by following rules and regulations that hold them to patient care standards.
• Knowledge of and compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, including radiation regulations, to keep self and others safe and healthy
• To ensure overall health and safety in the workplace, one must take into account all applicable regulations, such as radiation precautions

Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in Radiography
• A master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• Two years of experience as a Radiographer 

Skills and Knowledge

• English verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills (Mircosoft)
• Customer service principles and best practices
• Fine knowledge of patient safety standards.
