Responsibilities of Physician Informatics at Mediclinic Corporate Office
- Ensure that clinicians are familiar with the many new and existing EHR features, to maximize their effectiveness.
- Work closely with our Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology and Health Information Management (HIM) team.
- Make sure the system works well with the way doctors and other healthcare professionals work.
- Lead and guide in clinical management of EHR issues.
- Ensure that individuals are informed of the significant benefits of our electronic health record system both within and beyond the organization
Qualification
- Doctor (MD)
- Professional qualification with at least 2 years of clinical practice
- An Informatics certificate from an accredited institution (AMIA) is preferred.
Experience
- At least 2 years of Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience as a Physician Informatics
- Working and implementing InterSystems TrakCare clinical applications and knowledge of clinical terminologies. such as ICD, SNOMED, LOINC, hopefully.
