Responsibilities of Nutritionist at NMC Royal Hospital Khalifa City

• Analyze dietary demands, calorie intake, and current health objectives to develop tailored nutritional management plans and offer nutritional education.
• Providing advice and encouragement for both individuals as well as groups with guidance on how to improve their quality of life through the principles of healthy eating, good eating habits, and tracking.
• Ensures that meals served are in line with prescribed diets and adhere to aesthetic standards
• Offers financial assistance for patients who cannot consume prescribed meals within those restrictions
• Assesses the appropriateness of diet orders for diagnosis and recommendations, including meal service provision selection, education, supervision, and patient response.
• Documents crucial diet changes. plan information and interventions
• Collaborates with a doctor and nurse to provide quality nutritional care
• Acts as a nurse nutrition consultant -, for physicians, treatment and restaurant staff in designated areas
• Maintains accurate statistical data and reports as required by department and facility
• Performs all duties professionally and confidentially.

Education

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nutritionist 
• Knowledge of relevant hygiene practices and understanding of food and nutrition
• Innovative, with a strong service-oriented approach, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident and competent to handle all cases
• Creative ability to welcome and engage people to feel comfortable
• Ability to encourage patients to develop good preventive treatment habits
• We can quickly identify problems and prescribe effective treatment methods.
