Nurse in Al Hayat International Hospital Sharjah is responsible for promoting and restoring patients’ health. You will work with a variety of patients and you will provide direct nursing care along with physical or psychological support when required.
Responsibilities of Nurse in Al Hayat International Hospital
- Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
- Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
- Resolve or report on patients’ needs or problems
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood
- pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
- Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services
- Treat medical emergencies
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of the patient’s health status, including physical, psychological, and social factors.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based practices. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients’ responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Advocate for patients’ rights, preferences, and best interests within the healthcare system.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records.
- Administer workloads
- Follow care regulations and standards
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- NLT 2 years clinical experience post qualification as a Registered Nurse
- Valid UAE Professional License as a Registered Nurse (DOH/DHA/MOH)
- Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programs of care.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and written in English
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
