KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS OF MEDICAL TECHNICIAN IN MEDICLINIC CORPORATE OFFICE

To provide a comprehensive emergency medical service to patients in accordance with all the relevant regulatory guidelines
To ensure that life support equipment is in good working order and managed according to relevant guidelines and company policy
To ensure continuous professional development standards are adhered to aimed at ensuring a high quality of patient services
To manage and monitor all administration related to billing and cash handling in line with standard company policy
Follow accurate record keeping practices to prevent potential risks and ensure legal compliance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION FOR MEDICAL TECHNICIAN IN MEDICLINIC CORPORATE OFFICE

For the job of Medical Technician, a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMT-P) is required
A recognized Intermediate Life Support qualification (EMT-I)
Licensed as Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic/Intermediate with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi

EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years’ experience in an Emergency Medical Services environment
A minimum of 1600 working hours during the last 24 months in an Emergency Medical Service position and proof of a valid driver’s license
