Dietitian in SKMC Ajman is accountable to design nutrition programs to improve or maintain the health of patients. Positions in this class are characterized by their responsibility.
Responsibilities of Dietitian in SKMC
- Design and develop nutritionally balanced meal plans tailored to meet clients’ specific dietary needs, goals, and preferences.
- Conduct assessments of clients’ nutritional requirements, taking into account any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus that align with nutritional guidelines and client preferences.
- Analyze the nutritional content of recipes and meals ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and standards.
- Use nutrition analysis software or databases to calculate and track macronutrients, micronutrients, and calorie values.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing meal plans to ensure nutritional adequacy and variety.
- Offer personalized nutrition counseling and guidance to clients, addressing their questions and concerns regarding their meal plans.
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and the importance of a balanced diet.
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients, assisting them in achieving their health and wellness goals.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of meal plan offerings to ensure compliance with nutrition standards, client feedback, and industry trends.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of meal plans in achieving client goals and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about current research and advancements in nutrition science to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our meal plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutritionist credentials preferred.
- 3 year of experience in nutrition counseling, meal planning, or related roles.
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and meal planning strategies.
- Familiarity with nutrition analysis software and databases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
