The Boonal Joint Venture is a coal load out facility located near Blackwater in Central Queensland. The role will include Train Load Out on a coal stockpile, as well as Water Truck operation at the site. This role is a 7/7 day/night roster and accommodation is provided for those who don’t live locally.

The Train Loadout Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the Train Load Out and various plant and equipment as per specifications

Applicants must have.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry, particularly in coal train load-out operations
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining load-out equipment and systems
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental guidelines relevant to coal mining
  • Relevant RII Competency Certification or signed SSE transcript
  • Current Queensland Coal Board Medical
  • Experience with heavy earth moving equipment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
  • Diesel Fitter or Boilermaker trade qualifications will be highly regarded
