RESPONSIBILITIES OF STORES ASSISTANT IN NMC ROYAL HOSPITAL

  • Store the received items from suppliers in earmarked areas.
  • Assign non-stock items to the concern departments along with the invoice.
  • Participate in the inventory of products and report the end-of-day inventory status to Shop Manager
  • Receive merchandize, count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information and inspect its quality to report discrepancies
  • After acknowledgement from end user submit the invoice to Finance Department.
  • Record Retrieve (picking) of items for issuance against requests.
  • Assign Porters for packing boxes/bags for designated Areas
  • List items to be reordered.
  • Participate in the inventory of products and report the end-of-day inventory status to Shop Manager
  • Receive merchandize, count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information and inspect its quality to report discrepancies
  • Track Issue notes to the issuing Location
  • Reassure the acknowledgement of items delivered on the issue notes.
  • File receipted issue notes.
  • Collect / deliver documents from / to hospital.
  • Assist during stock counting .
  • File Stores related documents as required.
  • General assistance in the day-to-day operations of the Stores and Materials dept.
