About the role
We are looking for a Storeperson to join the team to ensure the smooth operation of our wool handling facility based at Ravenhall.
Working at our purpose-built wool selling centre, this role will contribute to the smooth operations of our facility by efficiently operating the testing machines and ensuring the safe movement of wool bales throughout the wool-handling facility. You will be working in a new, state-of-the-art facility with all the support and technology at your fingertips to ensure your success.
Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading of trucks by forklift
- Marking up of bales in preparation for testing
- Ensure bales are labelled, recorded and branded accurately to ensure minimal errors
- Help in the operation of the testing equipment
- Adjusts over and under-weight bales as required
- Marking up bales in preparation for shipping
- Work collaboratively with other members
- Additional wool store duties are part of this role to help deliver team outcomes
About you
- Drivers and forklift license
- Experience loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
- An understanding of warehouse storage and operations
- The ability to learn and adapt in a team environment
- Be a true team player with a can-do attitude
- A safe work ethic is critical
- Some basic computer skills
