Responsibilities of Practice Nurse at Emirates Group

• Offer training to promote the health of our client group as required.
• Provide health information brochures and inform employees and families about health risks when traveling to certain countries.
• Identify patients who may need referral to senior nursing or medical staff.
• Ensure that all test results are recorded accurately and quickly in the medical information system before the patient visits the doctor.
• Inform the doctor about possible abnormalities in the test results.
• Ensure all crew and staff are up to date with appropriate vaccinations per medical service protocol.
• Plan individualized vaccination schedules and administer medications with consent.
• Talk to individuals about the side effects and causes of vaccinations.
• Interpret immunology results as needed to plan vaccination schedules and determine patient eligibility.
• Order specialized blood tests to evaluate immunity.
• Provide a detailed explanation of the results and recommendations for additional steps.

Qualification

• Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of experience as a Practice Nurse
• Fluent in English written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
