Responsibilities of Pharmacist at NMC Corporate

• Provide medication to patients after their examination and counselling, and contact physicians to clarify prescriptions in ambiguous situations.
• Follow containment protocols and maintain records as needed.
• Review patient history, evaluate likely reactions, allergies, etc., and notify the appropriate clinic.
• Comply with departmental policies, frameworks, and procedures and participate in the quality control process.
• Monitors near-expired medications and take necessary steps to dispose of them according to established procedures.
• Ensures the safeguarding of confidential patient data, and manages restricted-use medications and medicines through an IV requirement program.
• Checks recipes in detail before publishing
• Check for the correctness of prescriptions and ensure they are appropriate.
• Evaluate and review the potential for drug interactions and advise treating physicians accordingly.
• Examine for drug interactions and reports on drug-food/drink sources, as well as medically necessary interactions.

Qualification

• BSc in Pharmacy
• 3 years of experience as a Pharmacist
• Holds a current and valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in their home country.
• Must have a HAAD License to practice.
