Accountabilities of Occupational Therapist at American Hospital Dubai
- Evaluate the functionality of things and formulate a plan using remedies to optimize them.
- Promotes daily activities for patients and individuals by increasing or restoring physical abilities and preventing disability.
- Keep the unit running smoothly by effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Report incidents or concerns to the command post.
- Participation in the quality improvement activities of the department.
- Adherence to hospital safety, infection control and security policies and procedures.
- Use appropriate methods with appropriate doses, duration, and intensity as determined by initial and ongoing patient evaluation.
- Ensures services are consistent with the mission, goals and objectives of Physical Therapy Services.
- Works towards the creation of new programs, such as establishing treatment protocols for emerging patient populations.
- Identifies that equipment needs to be repaired or upgraded to maintain quality of care.
- Recommends selection and purchase of certain equipment and accessories.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
- 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Must have excellent communication skills and Interpersonal Skills
