KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS OF NURSE OT AT MEDICLINIC DUBAI MALL

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Able to perform a preoperative nursing assessment of patients to formulate an appropriate nursing care plan.
• Collaborates effectively as a multidisciplinary team member with the anaesthesia team in the sign-in process.
• Effectively communicates the TIME OUT process and actively conducts correct patient identity, correct site, and correct procedure as a multidisciplinary team member before the first incision.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks by clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employee

EDUCATION

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Essential: At least two years in your own country as a Nurse OT
• Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
