KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS OF NURSE EMERGENCY IN MEDICLINIC PARKVIEW HOSPITAL

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Provide culturally appropriate patient focused nursing care
• Applies the international patient safety goals throughout the patient journey and care process
• Respects patient and applies patient family rights throughout the patient care, with empathy, emotional stability
• Supporting a compassionate and therapeutic environment for critically ill patients
• Providing comfort and preventing suffering
• Collaborating with patients, their families, their healthcare providers, and healthcare professionals
• Acting as patient advocates
• Practice continuous monitoring and nursing vigilance
• Interpreting diagnostic tests such as ABG, GMT,ECG
• Consults and coordinates with health care team members develops plan of care that is individualized for the adult and patients reflecting collaboration with other members of the healthcare team
• Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

• Essential: At least two years in own country as a Nurse in Emergency room.
• Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial
