The role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our Crown Melbourne Team. In this unique role you will be responding to any service requests to maintain the operational effectiveness of our Gaming Machines, Electronic Table Games and any other ancillary based technologies. This will be a fast paced, highly interactive working environment where you will be taking direction from a variety of internal stakeholders, therefore sound communication, organizational skills as well as strong sense of integrity is required.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Perform the servicing, repairs & reporting on all electronic gaming equipment including but not limited to
  • daily planned maintenance tasks (cleaning and testing equipment)
  • fault finding and repairs of faulty equipment (workshop repairs)
  • installation, commissioning and upgrades of equipment & software
  • asset registration, location auditing as well as auditing performance
  • Delivering exceptional customer experience whilst liaising with internal/external stakeholders
  • Following established OHS and compliance policies and procedures, as well as identify/mitigate risks

You’ll bring the following:

  • Relevant Electronics/Electrical trade certificate, other qualifications in Electronics, Electronic Telecommunications or I.T preferred but not essential
  • Experience in fault finding & maintenance of electronic equipment
  • Exceptional attention to detail & problem-solving skills as well as strong written & verbal communication
  • Dedication towards outstanding service whilst working in a team as well as autonomously
  • Ability to work a 24/7 rotational roster
  • Ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee License (required Police Check and Credit Check)
