The selected candidate will be accountable for the oversight, and control of Emirates Centralized Load Control operation across the network. Responsibilities of Load Operations Controller at Emirates Airline
- Maintain constant oversight of Emirates Centralized Load Control operation, ensuring all Emirates flights and all W and B team are compliant with standards and procedures depicted in Emirates Ground.
- Act as focal point of contact and subject matter expert for aircraft weight & balance, IATA DGR and Zafire Firstload globally. Provides effective guidance and support to all relevant
- This includes oversight of the network-wide use Zafire ramp reconciliation tool approving the use of the manual BCP (business continuity plan) in the event that the ramp tool is unavailable.
- Prepare weight and balance documents for ferry, ad-hoc and charter flights operated by Emirates due to the increased risk profile associated with such complex and dynamic operations.
- This includes but is not limited to unplanned flight diversions, commercial charters and Emirates VIP operations on the A319CJ and Phenom 100 aircraft.
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices and reports to senior management for evaluation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 8+years in Airport as a Load Operations Controller
- Ground handling experience at an international airport in areas of Load Control / Aircraft Loading.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on wide-body aircraft weight and balance.
- Holding current Dangerous Goods certification equivalent to IATA DG Cat 8 or 10.
