RESPONSIBILITIES OF GENERAL PRACTITIONER AT NMC ROYAL HOSPITAL

• Monitor and provide general care to patients in outpatient clinics.
• Admit patients who require special care, investigation and treatment.
• Examine and talk to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.
• Make notes, both as a record of treatment and for referral.
• Promote health education among patients.
• Organize preventive medical programs.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable local regulations and requirements.
• Developing and maintaining professional quality standards and recommending the improvement of such
• Monitoring the quality of medical care provided to patients hospitalized.
• Work is performed independently, under the general direction of the Internists.
• Review death cases with internists and other physicians.
• Conducts the periodic health program for company executives.
• Work in all shifts as scheduled by the Head of the department.
• Monitors clinical and other established indicators to ensure ongoing quality assurance.
• Maintain confidentiality as per the agreement signed.
• Demonstrate the ability to listen to others in promoting effective communication.
• Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship
• At least four years of practice as a General Practitioner
• Must have the license to practice by HAAD.
• Good command of oral and written English. Knowledge of the Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
