Clinical Auditor in Fakeeh University Hospital Dubai is responsible to design and prepare Standard operational manuals/policies related to Management of Information Chapter of JCI.
Responsibilities of Clinical Auditor in Fakeeh University Hospital
- Implements all the standards of accreditation/ certification chapters related to MOI like JCIA, Planetree etc. in co-ordination with the QRM/ IT department.
- Frames KPI related to MOI and Clinical Audit and submits reports on monthly basis along with the analysis of deviations.
- Hospital wide implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the track of Inventory of medical/ non-medical documents.
- Generates systemized audit logs according to DHA/ JCIA audit tools for the clinical audit of the patient files.
- Clinical audit of the open and closed medical files. Monthly Analysis reports and highlighting to QRM, CMO and CNO for discrepancies and improvement measures.
- Raises concerns to the CMO and CNO where the documentation compliance is compromised and suggest measures for improvement.
- Reviews and analyses the cases to be presented for the Mortality and morbidity committee.
- Reviews all the files sent for clinical Governance office, Dubai courts, MOH for medical investigation for its completeness in terms of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Data Collection and maintaining the morbidity triggers and reporting to QRM and CMO for further analysis and measures.
- Active member of Management of Information Committee, preparing the TOR and coordinating the Committee activities and executing/ following up the committee decisions.
- Maintains tracker for Mortality, morbidity, DCAS and Transfer cases in the hospital.
- Always monitors the privacy and confidentiality of patient documents and information throughout the hospital.
Education
- For the job of Clinical Auditor Bachelor’s in Medicine or equivalent
- 5 years minimum with 3 years as Supervisor or 2 years Manager from a reputable hospital or its equivalent position.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a variety of situations.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced deadline sensitive environment.
