Clinic Assistant in Fakeeh University Hospital Dubai is responsible to support the provision of safe, patient and family focused quality care.

Responsibilities of Clinic Assistant in Fakeeh University Hospital

  • Creates a positive patient experience at our facility. Exhibits a proactive approach toward ensuring excellent patient care
  • Assists in the daily functioning of the unit/department in support of patient care while maintaining confidentiality.
  • To assist the provision of high-quality care to patients and their families under the direction and supervision of the Physician/ Registered Nurse/ Midwifes.
  • Demonstrate a range of skills to meet the needs of patients whilst promoting dignity, privacy, and respect.
  • To provide a range of healthcare and non-nursing duties, ensuring efficient and effective service to the ward/department at all times.
  • To assist with administration and non-nursing duties.
  • To perform basic care under the direction of Physician/ Registered Nurse/ Midwife.
  • To assist all patients who are able, towards independence and activity under the direction of the physician/Registered Nurse/Midwife.
  • To provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients call and requests; reporting observation of the patient to the team leader.
  • Assisting Physicians at the time of seeing patients in the clinics.
  • Supports the successful achievements of Clinic Operations strategic goals.
  • Escorts patient whenever need arise throughout the hospital premises.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all hospital services and facilities.
  • Assists departments with their transportation needs throughout the hospital.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2 year of experience as a Clinic Assistant 
  • Excellent English verbal/written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
  • Experience with clinical procedures desirable
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Remain calm under trying circumstances and work with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a variety of situations.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced deadline sensitive environment.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely in both oral and written format.
