Accountant in Canadian Specialist Hospital Dubai is responsible to prepare, maintain control, and also responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
Responsibilities of Accountant in Canadian Specialist Hospital
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
- Develop and maintain financial databases.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues.
- Analyze and advise on business operations, including revenue trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.
- Responsible for closing books at year end upon completion of annual audit.
- Set up and maintain a record and filing system and other financial records for retrieval or review.
- Identify any time-consuming bottlenecks and recommend improvement processes.
- Prepares, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
- Maintain an ongoing review of customer credit limits.
- Ensure customer accounts are reconciled and receipts are made according to this reconciliation.
- Reconcile all accounts receivable related to balance sheet account.
- Timely response to all departmental and management queries regarding the status of payments and invoice processing.
- Follows up and refers uncollectible accounts to the finance manager for collection aging or bad debt write-off.
- Processes approved adjustments and write-offs and maintains a detailed record of correspondence and all actions.
- Communicates with customers on any and all accounts receivable issues (short pays, open invoices, aged balances).
- Communicates and coordinates collection efforts with insurance department.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- 3 year of experience as a Accountant.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements.
